Blue Eyes

A short experimental film about a young girl's experiences after a serious skiing accident while suffering from a head injury. I am playing the role of the mom, watching her daughter being wheeled in for surgery, not knowing if she will ever be the same again.
Based on a true story.

A short film exploring the role of our electronic gadgets in our society and how
despite helping us connect have caused us to be more disconnected than ever to some extent. The film is an ensamble piece carved out through improvisation and choreography. I had a principal role as a Board Member at a meeting.

A comedic love story  about an overweight super hero who's tired of living forever. He keeps to  himself and commits small robberies to live, and while robbing a bank he falls  in love with a woman. He begins to follow her around and finally befriends her  which makes his life take an unexpected turn, as well as hers. He also becomes good friends with the girl Jessica, whom he meets in the park. I play the role of Mary Wright, the mother of Jessica.  Luckily for Jessica, Mary ends up encouraging their friendship despite  certain reservations at first.

I,Creator 2, Goddess of the hunt

The Cyborgs, Artemis and Aretians.

A sci-fi film shot in the beginning of June 2011 with the hope to procure funding for a TV-version.  It's truly a story about the will of the gods and good and evil. 

Earth has been destroyed and there is strife between the two Amazonian tribes, the Libyan Berbers and the Aretias, on planet Delta 4. I play the role of Private Phillips, a human Amazonian soldier of the Aretias tribe, who brought one of her husbands on a mission, where soldiers of both Amazonian tribes were captured by silver demons and brought to a foreign planet to be hunted as game. The only ones able to save them are the Cyborgs, but they have instigaters within themselves. The Goddess Artemis strive to bring peace between the tribes and the Cyborgs, which are half machine and half human, but she has an enemy in the God Ares, who instigate trouble to get them to annihalate each other.

Marathon is a true story based freely on the autobiographical book Marathon, by Richard Harteis. The film is a tribute to the Pulitzer Prize winning poet William Meredith, and about love, friendship and the human ability to overcome challenges. I played the physcial therapist Britt.

Thanksgiving Day

An independent feature horror film. I played Betty, the mother of a boy who gets accused for killing his parents. About 10 years after the murder of Betty and her friend, her son Kevin gets released from mental hospital to visit his aunt's family over Thanksgiving. The question is if he deserves the families trust or not, since the reasons for him being in a mental institution are very unclear to begin with.

'The Super Bowl Challenge' is a contest where people compete by submitting their commercial concepts for either Doritos or Pepsi. Ten winners are announced and the 3 best will be aired on  TV during the Super Bowl.
These commercials entered for the Super Bowl in February 2010.   

I was in two of the three commercials with the same theme:

The American-Greek Heavy Metal Band Phoenix Reign, located in Astoria, New York, made a music video based on one of the band’s songs, 'On the Eve of Fall'. The video is in addition a 15 minute  long Short Film, conveying a moment in history commonly referred to as 'Black  Tuesday', the day Constantinople fell and the Muslims took over the ruling in 1453.
